I'm gonna kill him!

This is not the first time "blue" has wrecked a valuable skein-i know it's my fault for leaving the skein at his level-but......i feel like weeping. but i can't. my tear ducts are completely dried up after last night's friday movie. I watched the 1969 version of "david copperfield" and just sobbed and sobbed. Okay i admit to having a slight case of PMS. But why did it have to be my chartruese skein of targhee wool yarn from "sweet grass" and not the cheap-ass "knit picks" skeins next to it-sigh. nothing against knit picks yarn-i use it all the time! but you fibery folk know exactly what i mean. at least it was not a skein of cashmere, buffalo or quiviet. (uh-right steph-you don't own any of those luxury fibers....guess i better not get any.)

Since the wool isn't actually sitting in the doody, it might be salvageable. Yes, you heard me correctly. I am crazy enough that I would attempt to rewind that skein. It sort of looks like one of those Family Circus comics where Billy or Dolly takes the long meandering route instead of the quick direct route. If you can't bear to do this yourself, box it up and I'll work on it for you. I saw no severed ends during your tour.

I agree completely with soxchick, it's absolutely possible to save the skein - though, perhaps you might not make a shawl out of it because of some possible knots.

But the expression of that dog is just priceless! Pure guilt and asking for forgiveness!

Bad dog! I would try to wind into a skein and wash it...

oh, what a look on his face! he sure knows he was wrong... that is bad behaviour, it is a good thing he is so cute and loveable otherwise! (i speak from recent experience with a certain kitty...) i too would probably try to save the yarn...

I laughed out loud - sorry. Now I'm going to play it for Ian. At least he has a tail to wag. Poor Buster got docked and can't express chagrin like Blue just did.
