my first lace!
i'm so happy-i finished my very first "real" lace knitting project!!!!! theforest canopy shawl. here's the photos-step by step. looks good on my very old couch too!i think lace knitting could become addictive!
Nice! Congrats! Looks like it turned out perfect. Good fambly pic a few posts back... are you guys freezing as bad as we are? winter won't freaking stop up here...
wow! it looks beautiful! this represents many hours when everybody else is sleeping or elsewhere, i'm guessing...great job! just working on my first SIMPLE lace scarf, and so far it isn't addictive, but then, things may change....
Once you start, you can't stop. And.. you got the lace shawl modeling pose down! And... it'll go great with that pioneer dress you have hiding in the closet!
I keep hearing that lace knitting is addictive. I have a defective lace gene and don't enjoy frogging all that much. Is that picture you? Where's your hair?!
beautiful job... Now you will blend right in and become a forest nymph... How many hours do you think it took? it looks pretty complicated... besides following the basic pattern.. you also had to decrease and increase... ooo... good job... lots of patience!
What a lovely blog. I found it because of your black australorp baby chick pictures. We have two week old chicks right now-- two black australorps and two rhode island reds.
